I have bought a Tag Heuer Series 1000 (Quartz). It is a real beater. And now after I have paid for it through Paypal, I slightly feel that I have bought a watch that will cause me more headache than satisfaction. I personally like the aesthetics, hence why I purchased it. What do you think? It is my first purchased used watch ever.

 

How can we have any idea if it was a good deal, if you do not tell what the price was? $10 you got a great deal, $10,000 you got a really bad deal.

I sold the exact watch about a year ago for $250.
It's a fun watch. This was my watch I used at the gym. I beat the out of it, and it never let me down.

Well, as a beater and at that price I like the one you got better. It has a lot of personality and I actually would love to have it as a beater. Is it quartz? yeah, Is it a good price, Yeah. Can I wear it and enjoy the looks of it and not give a damn? hell yeah!

And the 2 tone is up to 400. But I guess you have negotiated the 250.

 

For that price it cannot pay off to be anything than relaxed, however, I have plans to change the bezel, crystal and maybe crown. Just to ensure it can go under water. 980.029N model: Anyone knows where to source OEM parts?? Besides ebay.

Or on that look get the two tone because the one you got has a black case so it will be different. Which is what I like about it actually.
