·Bought on eBay. A search of the serial number on the movement comes up as 1944. The fact it has no Omega symbol on the dial has me concerned. Any input? See pics below

·I think some pictures will help here. "Redial" it's the best option..worse will be to have a "Franken" watch.

The reference number 2478 inside the case back should be entered into a search engine and then compare known originals to the one you are looking to buy. Train your eye to known originals as you seek cool watches.

This is a Collectors Forum, so generally collectors want "original".....as in, How the watch left the factory.

·Did the seller disclose that the watch has a refinished dial? If not, and you want to return it, you have a good case for a return/refund. eBay typically sides with the buyer when there is a legitimate dispute and the seller has failed to disclose a material fact in the listing. In such cases, it doesn't matter if the seller specified "no returns" in the listing. If you're not happy, open a dispute.
