The watch in question is a CK 2451 from 1949 ( according to its EOA)
I fancy this CK 2451, but have never seen one with this kind of dial. I assume it's a later replacement ( Logo/Font differ a lot from other watches from that period) but I just don't really know.
Concerning the movement: shouldn't this be copper plated or is this finish right for early 27 CHRO C12 T2 PC Movements?

I'd like to buy this one for sheer joy, but want to know how much money I would burn if it's "overfranked" or a pure assembly.

    Any advice appreciated!!

A poor re-dial and an over-polished case, all the dark dialed 2451's (174-'s) I've seen have radium arabic's and not baton markers. I can't make out your serial, but here's my light dialed 174-3 with a 12.4 million serial, this has the copper finish.

( Pre-clean pictures, and jeez was it beautifully filthy....but don't worry people, I saved the cheese somewhere for the next owner, or should I say, the future 'guardian of the cheese', maybe that's better? :D ;) )

Thanks Cristos, confirms my research for the Dial. All Dial variations I found - and I spend some hours on that - had Arabic numerals, none was with baton markers. Concerning the movement: the finish irritated me, serial is 1082xx. So whatever I would spend on it would be like a generous evening in a very fancy bar..money invested forever gone, for some fun though :)
