I bought an Ultraman recently (serial 26.079.xxx) so I decided to take a pic next to a normal 145012. We can see that the dials are not exactly the same, the Ultraman's dial is pure black and has a satin varnish. It's interesting to note that the normal 145012 is also in the Ultraman's range (serial 26.078.xxx).

Some regular 145.012s also have a jet black dial with this kind of satin/oily texture.

There’s definitely a difference to the dial, more of a satin finish. Here’s mine…

Left: 2998-5.
Right top: 145.012-67 SP
Right bottom: 105.012-66 HF

Side by side. The 145.012 clearly has a jet black oily dial as compared to the two other regular dials.
And it's not an UM.

Every 3 months a UM owner forgets the "square rectangle phenomenon" where all UMs have a satin dial, but they are not unique to UMs, and posts about their not unique dial to post-hoc justify the high price they paid for an orange hand.
