Gents,

I know it's probably a redial but I though I should check anyway...

As usual, thank you for your input 馃榾

Best,

I think it would be helpful to others if the OP tells us why he thinks it is, before we agree or disagree. Not trying to test @dantaspaulo , it's just that too many of these threads end with "yes, it is" or "no, it isn't" and those of us still trying to learn, never really get the issues pointed out.

That's the best picture the seller has, unfortunately. What made me think it's a redial is the low case "automatic" for this reference (166.010), the overall quality of the printing (although it is hard to tell from the picture) and the "swiss made" above the minutes track -- but as I'm still trying to learn, I'm not completely sure (and also, a part of me wants it to be an original dial because I don't have a 166.010 and this one is really well priced).

Redial. The "Swiss Made" is way too high on dial.

I will not be debating this.

Should 'automatic' not be capatalised as well? Never seen one that is all lower case but then again, like the OP, I am no expert. It doesn't seem to be properly centered beneath OMEGA either.

I've seen that font on other Omega watches. Not sure about this model.

I think they were a bit more usual in the late 70s? I remember seeing that in some of the TV-shaped refs.

That font for "automatic" was used in the early 70s for Seamasters with cal. 711 (and Constellations with cal. 712). Seamaster 711 pictures

Thanks for playing, Paulo. Those are the things that stood out to me, too.
