Just got back from picking my daughter from her first day of school and my neighbor handed me a package that she signed for, containing this... I couldn't be more pleased! Thanks Alex, I think I could cut granite with the edges of this case!
There's another one for sale on the sales thread...and ...I'm...having ......a...hard...time...resisting......get off of me squirrel!
Nice. Crosshairs, a clean movement, a good medallion with all the stars, and a bezel you could slice tomatoes on! You do realize that if we're pink gold it would be arriving at my house, right?
Pink gold! It looks good in the pictures but when you have it in your hand... there are not words to describe this...
Just curious does it not come with officially certified? I'm not too familiar with the vintage constellations just always seen it with the MOY test
There was a short time Omega considered having both Chronometer and Officially Certified redundant and removed Officially Certified. When enough dealers complained they decided to put it back on.
......... Nah .... I am not too much into gold. I am just mesrmerized by their enhancing effect to a beautiful design. For example, one of your gold Polarouter (well I declare dibs now...)
Mine is pink GF (with a pink gold medallion), still sharp and with a date. The dial is a fraction less clean though.
These 14.38x / 551 and 14.39x / 561 models from late 1959 to maybe 1961 or 1962 didn't have the OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED on the dial.
