I bought an Omega strap and deployant clasp from Ebay and have noticed the bit that the logo sits on is a lot thicker than that on my other. Is this a newer version or fake? Thanks

 

Sorry to break the news mate, but your clasp is a fake. The 'bay is notorious for selling fake Omega clasps, especially when the price is too good to be true.

If you want more info on how to spot the fake send me a PM. But just from the limited pics you posted there is a telltale sign that tells you the clasp is not authentic.

Fake ones are typically shorter length when deployed, so harder to pass the hand if you have big hands.
