Defective 2021 Speedy Pro?

I just noticed that my replacement speedy has a misaligned bezel. Two for two with QC issues on these new Speedmaster Professionals so far. Should I send it back, or just try to ignore it until my first service? I really don’t like the idea of sending it away for weeks for a small detail like this, but a $7k watch shouldn’t have such an obvious error IMO. (Focus on the 120 marker at the bottom and you can clearly see it).

(on the plus side - the movement seems to be deadly accurate so far - within one second per day…and the edges are all finished properly on this replacement)

Seems to me you answered your own question, also is it really life or death to time your exact speed.

Looks like there is a bit of parallax in your photo (not shot perfectly straight on) to make a firm judgement. But it looks like it is a pretty small error in the placement of the bezel. It wouldn't cause me to send it back.

I'm also in the side of "wear it, enjoy it". It makes yours unique!

I've never used the tachymeter once in my 5+ years of Speedmaster ownership. Unless you actually have a need for this function, it wouldn't bother me. Think about the original reasons you purchased the watch.

Was because "I need to use it as an instrument for measuring units over time?" Or because you appreciate the design, heritage, and/or the movement, and have an emotional attachment to either the brand or this model? Emotions themselves are an inexact science, and I personally don't let imperfections like this on watches, cars, etc, deter me from enjoying the product. If anything, it makes me bond to it even more, because it's not 100% perfect.
