Alaska.

But if it between that and the first Snoopy that might be a different story.

Alaska. I love the Snoopy dial very much but the Alaska is truly special.

Any limited editions that could work…. Also the Canopus gold is a lovely watch (how would you class the dial colour?)

Omega says the Canopus' dial is "sunbrushed silvery". So definitely not white.

It is a looker, just not sure it's a $54,000 looker. Lots of competition at that price.

The Alaska is a fun watch. I'm very happy to own one and would take the Alaska Project over the Snoopy--the latter is fun, but just not my style.

The Alaska III with the radial dial is worth looking at as well. I just picked one up and wish I had done so sooner.

Indoors the dial looks whiter than it looks silver and the opposite in natural daylight.

Go with Snoopy, it has the 321. The dial is incredible. Blue and white goes well. I’ve always liked the Alaska but now I’m looking closer at the dial and yuck that lume hour job sucks. I went there 😜 Just like the canopy. Cheap looking dial. Poor job. The cool rocket subdial hands saved the Alaska.

Which one did you go for in the end? If none yet, maybe consider the new Daniel Craig 😉

Although I wish the Alaska had outlines around the indices for legibility, I’d still go Alaska all the way. Just something about that beautiful stark white dial… many regrets not getting one years ago before prices skyrocketed.

Neither to be honest. If you like the aesthetic, and I must admit I do, then benefit from a cost saving and get the upcoming white dial Speedy, hopefully that'll be priced around the level of the black dial and may have a few other Easter Eggs such as stepped dial, 3861, etc.

Do people forget that you couldn't give an Alaska LE away for around 10 years after launch? At one point, the Alaska tied with the Ap17 coin dial and Replica as the least valuable Pro models!
People had some sense back then - same with the Tintin - it was ugly, so no one wanted it. Then it became hot because... God knows.

I saw a TinTin in my local Costco priced at around £2,400. It sat there for quite a few weeks. Hard to believe perhaps bearing in mind the subsequent hype but there it is. FOMO is real.
