Was watching this, slightly surprised that it finished this high. Then again I guess DON prices are dragging everything else up with them.

 

Yeah strong price. Looks like a genuine vintage one though.

Isn't the tell the width of the marker lines at the five minute intervals? These look nice and narrow as compared to the modern one where they are thicker.

The old thread with the comparison of the Vintage vs Service speedy bezels is a keeper.

 

Price is high but I agree on it's originality. Look at Number 4, 5 and 1 and compare to the replacement version (like seen here:

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone pointed out recently that the gap between. The 7 and the 0 is wider on the vintage ones.
I spent a while going through various examples and that also seems to check out.

It's not as easy as confirming a vintage pulsations or DoN but I think it can be done.

 

Any thoughts on what a good vintage pulsations is worth these days? Very rare
