Hi guys, My daughter's fiancé is looking for a first watch to wear for the wedding and future business meetings. He has settled on a c case Connie as the desired model and I thought this looked ok but would like informed opinions.
His "initiation fee" to the club would be $795 all in. Thanks very much!
EDIT: more shots

At a glance it looks very nice. The price is good and this is mine, which I was wearing yesterday ….. and, I’m planning on wearing mine to a wedding (as a guest) later this month 😀

Only question I have is that why isn’t the dial marked “T”?

They just don’t on a lot of Constellations and Seamasters of that era, I don’t understand it either but it’s the way they are

Good question. I checked after you posted and the images I found all had this dial without the "T" so I guess at some point they stopped??

Maybe I’m being a bit of a c-case snob but for that price and condition I’d prefer a better condition 168.017/27 with caliber 564 on a 1040 bracelet. That case looks pretty chewed up in the close up. I’d be interested to see more close up images of the rest of it. Has it been reliably serviced recently? If he has time to hunt I think a nicer example could be found.

For example, this gorgeous mint 168.027 just sold for about $750 USD. I thought it would go much higher.
