Daytona Public Service Announcement

While at my local downtown jewelry store today, I noticed that they had a Daytona (along with a few other Rolexes). They are a small, locally owned, 100+ year old business with a Rolex-certified tech. I asked about it and the salesperson said she thinks it is a 2014 that is basically unworn.

Anyway, the listed price is $17k but I think they may have had it a while. I don’t know much at all about these things and don’t have any interest in them, but it seems to me that people are always talking about how scarce they are. So ... I thought I would post a heads-up here.

The shop is Marks Jewelers in Lawrence KS.

Depends on condition (polished?, etc), all links present, box and papers, etc. Could be fair price, just depends. May need an overhaul at this point.

She said that they have serviced it. Again, I have no interest whatsoever in it but it seems like I am always hearing about scarcity of the model ... so I thought it was worth mentioning.

It’s not rare or scarce but it’s nice of you to inform other interested parties
