Dashboard car clock Has anyone seen anything like this?

Hello OF! Has anyone seen anything like this? The watchmaker told me that the mechanism is good and according to him it is from the 20's or 30's. It is adjusted and rolled from the basel.

Bezel winding and adjusting. Pretty common for car clocks from this era.

That'd make a nice desk clock if mounted on a timber stand.

I wonder if John Harwood got the bezel setting/winding idea from a clock like that.

Most of the ones I've seen have had a stem. This one is interesting. Were there any maker's marks on it to give an indication of who or where it was made?

There is no brand other than a four-digit serial number, as seen in the photos. It is interesting in what car it was installed ...

Could be used in a bus or truck as well, like the 8 day Zenith dashboard clocks that used the same principle. here in a Saurer bus from Austria or Switzerland.
