Dark Specs Inside Hesalite Crystal: Causes and Removal

Hi All,

Does anyone know how/why there are these specs in my Hesalite? There’s two and it looks like they’re layered inside. I can’t scrape or scratch them off.

Any experience with this? Or how to get them off? I’ve used polywatch to remove general scratches, but these did not come out.

Last watchmaker had dandruff, I guess.

It seems to me that they are just particles on the interior of the crystal that were introduced the last time it was removed (rather than chips in the hesalite itself). So, to get rid of them, the crystal would just have to be removed again and cleaned
