Hi Guys, went to the NAWCC show today in Dallas. My 1st watch show. This year they allowed public entrance for $10.
Saw many vintage Omega, Rolex, Longines, etc - prices were high!
How about this unique Longines diver - note the chrono hand with the long yellow tail piece... 3rd pic is the Longines movement. Also saw this over priced Constellation w/ Box and papers, 14k for $2500 asking price.
Gong back tomorrow. Sorry for poor pics!

That's a Longines Nonius with a 30ch movement. Out of curiosity, how much was it?
I have the valjoux 72 chrono version of that.

That Longines 30CH was designed to coincide with their lovely split second sports chronograph.

Although the 30ch movement does not beat quickly enough to actually make the yellow 1/10th of a second indicator functional, the split second inhouse movement shown below does (high-beat frequency).

Thanks for posting this. I was recently wishing to attend a watch show sometime. It's a 3 1/2-hour trip for me and the weekend's full up so I'll have to keep an eye on their schedule and go next time.

the longines is not a diver. don`t try to dive with it or buy 2.
I sold my perfect one, serviced, late last year for $ 3600. should not pay more for this one; it is not in good shape . kind regards. achim

Sadly most of what I saw was in fair or poor condition and priced at or higher than forum prices...
I think the best examples and best deals are done between dealers before the show.

I agree-at NAWCC Shows/ Marts I have been to the deals are made in the corridors before the show
Although some shows do not allow dealers to set up and sell to each other prior to the doors opening

I went to the National Conventional in New Orleans back in the 90's and it was huge! I was more into clocks then.

It was obvious that many of the good deals were done before the show. Doesn't seem like much has changed.

Thanks for the reports from Dallas!
