Hi,
I am new here and I am looking for my first vintage watch. I need some support regarding identification of a vintage Omega that has attracted my attention .
I got information from seller that it is a 35 mm "vintage bumper" from 1950 and I assume that the movement is indeed the "bumper" - serial number indicate that it was made in 1950 (12253584). However I cannot find any same watch in the entire web. The ref number on the inside of the plate is 2398-1H and the cal. 322.

Is anyone able to asssess whether it is a frankenwatch or not?
Thank you in advance! 馃榾

Try this from OF

References often had a number of different dial styles.
Your pics aren鈥檛 good enough to tell if the dial is original or repainted.

the cal. 322.
Actually it is a cal 332 I assume you misread or it was a typo...

IMO the watch is OK and not some sort of Franken.
But I think the condition is not good. Try to get better photos, especially of the lug ends. As it is a gold plated case the lugs are prone to brassing (= wearthrough of the gold plating)
