    I believe the dial texture is called Guilloche

    Gorgeous piece. Here's a video that shows how some of these dials are made

    Seeing some of these made makes me appreciate them that much more.

    Was the same process used to create the Omega dial above? So each of those dials is essentially unique? Or would they have just mass produced a single finished dial?

    I do not know if that method is how Omega produced their dials. I stumbled across that video in another thread a few weeks back and thought it was appropriate to share again.

    thanks for the comments, Guys... I'm familiar with the art of guilloche and the RGM video... Roland does turn out some cool dials!

    I guess my real question was, has anyone seen other Omegas with this type of elaborate dial? I've looked at lots of vintage Omegas over the years and don't recall seeing another dial quite like it, other than the waffles...

    but it appears mine is an engine-turned dial and not one with a 'stamped' waffle pattern??
