I've been following this project on WUS and now it's getting close to being real. Now it has the attention of Worn & Wound. I like this design as it pays close homage to a clock I used a lot - the 8 day cockpit clock. Thought OF folks might be interested. http://wornandwound.com/interview-paulo-fantons-13a-pilot-watch/
No clue. Hoping $1000 but I'll pay whatever he asks. Nothing else like it out there and it will match the 8 day clock on my bookshelf.
Great looking watch, seems like an awesome guy. On the website the price is listed at 650,00 €. Not bad at all, don't know if it will be different in the US. Might have to splurge on this.
I really like the look of the watch and interesting movement modification to have central seconds and minutes chronograph
If any one want's to see were they got the design from I collect any thing military issued even clocks. They did get the minute counter hand wrong it's was originally has a point at the tip. It has two knobs the one at the bottom winds and sets the time and the one at the top the chronograph reset and start button when you get it started the sweep hand will start and every 60 seconds it will pass the twelve and the pointed hand will move one minute. So the remake made into a watch will probably do the same. But this is a little to big for my wrist.
The designer was dealing with balance issues on the hands to that is why they are a little different.
