Curved Strap Or Straight?

I'm looking at getting a leather strap for my SMPc 300m. I'm seeing that I current SS strap is curved to fit the roundness of the case. Has anyone installed a leather strap on their watch and can offer opinions on straight or round? Does straight look ridiculous because of the gap created? Anyone have pics of their own where they've added a leather strap?

I have a bespoke alligator strap that I would put on a PO when I owned it. It was very slightly curved from the sring bar end to just before the buckle and holes.

I think he means the end of the strap is curved from lug to lug so it hugs the case.

Depends on the watch. I've never had any problem with the small gap a straight ended strap causes. I prefer curved for dress watches though.

I use a leather curved ends to my Speedy ( Hirsch / Leonardo di Medici ) its very nice 😀 IMHO

Not bad at all, I tend to like the gap on my Speedy but they always do look sharp on leather. Welcome to Omegaforums!

I have been looking for curved straps to my sm300 c to, but its hard to find in nice quality. So i have my smp on a summercollared nato ! And yes the gaps are there but i like it anyway 😉





If any one has som suggestion of curved straps please let me know 😉

Jim, I think that's the exact strap I just ordered from Watch Obsession. Hirsche Medici black with ivory stitching? Thanks for the picture...really gives me a good sense of how it will look on my SMP. Now I'm excited.
