·Cuervo y Sobrinos (CyS) Historiados Asturias, reference 3101.1ASN with beautiful anthracite gradient dial. In excellent condition.
If you don't know the history, CyS was established in 1882 in Havana, Cuba. It was THE brand to have and was sought after by the who's who in society including movie stars and world figures such as Winston Churchill. Companies like Rolex would pay to have their name put on CyS timepieces. The brand went dormant when Fidel Castro took over power, nationalized the brand and the owners fled Cuba.
I have only worn the watch a handful of times and it is in near-mint condition with hardly any signs of use. This sale is due to downsizing my collection as I have already settled on my main pieces.
Watch comes mounted on custom-made dark grey gradient strap and also included with the watch: original strap, wooden box (that also serves as a humidor cigar box), outer box, leather watch roll, booklet with certificate of authenticity.
