    Hello fellow OF'ers.
Bored out of my mind I thought about the funnier aspects of watch collecting and crud came to mind. We've already had a thread with watches with people's faces on the dial, therefore, I decided that a Crud contest would be appropriate. As watch collectors, I'm sure we all have come across such a situation at least once. Here's my humble submission. It doesn't look like much but this kept the bezel from moving IMG_20200312_133354.jpg IMG_20200312_133738.jpg IMG_20200312_135511.jpg

It cleaned up nicely and thankfully no corrosion. What's the cruddiest watch you people have had or seen?

No picture, as this was many years ago. I had one for repair that had been on the wrist of someone who died in a car accident! Even if I had a picture of it, it is not likely I would show it here! Yechhhh!

I wish I had pics- I spent 3 weeks in Huntsville, AL in August about 15 years ago- it was between 100-104 every day. I slathered sunblock daily, working in dirty conditions, dripping sweat. At the end of the trip I cleaned my Speedy case and bracelet using wet white hotel towels ...I offended myself and I’m sure the staff was pissed.

A recent flea bay buy of mine , I think the great unwashed owned it previously. I couldn’t tackle the generic bracelet & I didn’t even try to clean it ,

That's downright scary... I'm guessing the family wanted to have it done or something like that. Definitely not a job for someone faint-hearted like me.
