    Hi all,

I recently acquired a solid 18k gold Omega Constellation with reference number 168.010/11. I’m looking to replace the current, non-original crown with an original Omega crown.

Ofrei notes that part number 42050 was replaced by 42522. I’ve found a seller on eBay that is selling part 42050 and I believe these are the specs:
    -Waterproof
    -Diameter 4.40mm
    -Tap 10
    -Tube 2mm
    -Thickness 2.75mm

Hoping someone can confirm that this is the correct crown for the watch.

    Thanks in advance!

Crowns for the 'hidden crown' Connies is a vexing subject, as (reference to Desmond's blog) there were original 'none-hidden crown' 168.004s.
Likewise, there appears to be two 'correct' crowns available for the 168.010
One flat style (like the hidden crowns) and one domed style.
Note - even the (new) flat style is not fully hidden. (but is easier to wind)

You don't specify the case material completely - this case came in 18k yellow gold, 18k white gold, and 18k red gold...in fact 2 shades of 18k yellow gold were offered (2N and 3N) so without knowing more specifically what case you have, it will be difficult to give you an accurate answer.

Assuming it's yellow gold (only one shade of crown is available), the current replacement crown for this case is 069SX42522.

    Cheers, Al

Thank you all for the feedback.

I contacted the eBay seller who advised that there are two crowns for reference 168.010: 45020 and 42044.

It appears that 42044 has the same specs and is also gold in color. For example:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-CROW...514222?hash=item3af18ae2ae:g:GHsAAOSwTM5YwbbmPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

42044 appears to have a similar shape to the 069SX42522 crown. I assume that this crown is also compatible?

Al - correct, it's a solid 18k yellow gold case.
