My watch-maker broke the crown trying to close the back on my Bulova Wrist Alarm with cal. 11AERC. He has yet to find a replacement crown. Nothing on eBay so far in 6 months (other than a full watch)...

Here's a pic of my watch before the 'accident':

Ouch! I can't help but I do feel your pain.

Man, I bet he feels pretty bad, too...

I don't know it, but I'm sure my WM can tell me.

I'll be talking to him probably early next week and I will ask.

The dial on that one appears identical, but the crowns appear 'shallower'. There's also another one on eBay in nicer condition here:

I've asked the seller if he happens to have clues as to a replacement crown...

Still looking for this. It is a 'tap 8', 5.2mm crown...

Part Number for Alarm Crown is Bulova 706.

Part Number for Winding Crown is Bulova 306 (Water Resist is 313S).

Don't know if it helps but it might be useful for hunting for the right one.

Gosh, now I can't remember if it's the alarm crown, or the winding crown. I guess I thought they were identical... I'll ask my WM...

I do know he said 'dust-proof'. Is that as opposed to 'Water Resist'?
