It's tough to evaluate the chrono length from any type of angle. This is the same watch from angle and then straight on. (Pic is from an old private sales listing, I hope they don't mind me sharing in this thread).
The hands look correct to me here.

Ben, I believe your Chrono hand as well as hour and minute hands are just fine. And the watch is a gem. I can’t help with what a vintage buckle might befor this era, but the rich chestnut color of that padded strap compliments the watch very nicely IMHO.

The Chrono hand is positioned farthest away from the dial surface and consequently amplifies any angular change of a photo. Below are two shots of my .012 showing how much of a difference a very small angular change of the photo can make in terms of the apparent length of the Chrono hand.

Yes, I meant that hour and minute hand of the watch you initially posted are different from other common versions as well and I stated it above.

I did not intend to say your watch is wrong, it looks nice as it is, but your question was to have a look at it and comment on service parts.

I have said what I spotted and I told you my thoughts.

no worries, I appreciate the feedback, I'm just not sure if you are right or not 📖

thanks. I dont' see any issues with the chrono length. Someone else had commented the H/M hands look like they have a thicker coat of paint, which makes the edges a bit more round looking, and reduces the lume window. But what that suggests, I have no idea. I'm not sure if these are all just the kinds of variations you would see between batches, or if it suggests service parts, or what. Afraid that's way beyond my vintage speedy pay grade, and I'm going a bit cross eyed trying to compare tons of different hands at this point, so I think I will stop. 😉

If I had MWO only that might help. Anyhow regardless of the answer, the lume in the hands has aged quite nicely and make a great set with the dial, so I would not change anything. I'll keep an eye out for a flat foot crown.
