    Interesting

ETA 2824 movement, reliable automatic movement isn't it?

I may have to actually take a leap on one of these.

Looks like the movement a lone retails for around $250?

Diggin the A2 and G2 models

G2 reminds me of the Aqua Terra with blue dials and markers.

Hate or love WUS, doesnt matter, im digging the Aevig Balaur in blue. Is there a technical term for these watches with dual crowns? Other than a titanium PO 8500, this Aevig is on my blue-watch wishlist

not crowd funded. Its a WUS inspired one. Preorders are over. Got to get it from their site, although the blue is currently sold out. Just google it and youll find the site.

Damn I was considering an automatic but that $800 price made me change my mind. It is automatic tho and two strap options essentially. Great style, the blue is grabbing at me and at least the movement is a well used one.

Yeah, I'm going through a funny phase lately; "Do what I like and stuff the consequences" - watch purchasing as a coping mechanism
Early 2018 might bite me in the a$$

Well if the movement is what it says it is, and you like the style, $800 for an automatic isn't bad really is it? Obviously there a no name brand but in the end it's the style and movement that matter to someone.

Now some will say well what about abut servicing, well really that's way down the road, and 2 it's a movement many know how to work on, and that's if they even go out of business and it becomes an issue.

Break down the cost per month for an $800 watch for let's say 5-6 years before it really evens need to be looked at as long as no issues pop up.
It's $11 a month it cost you for ownership of the watch at the 6 year mark and $13 at the 5 year. I'd say if you like the style and the movement, it's really a small cost anyway per month for something you enjoy.

Remember, any image that looks like a replica to a Mod , will be deleted.
    No discussion, no appeals. :)

I think the threads about the kick starters out there right now, not sure if considering these to be replicas unless the known manufacturer's symbol shows up on the kickstarter watches?

Nothing to do with kickstarters per se, they are generally fine, just images of some watches.

And they are overwhelming vanity watches made by people who have no clue what they're doing. But they do have "passion" and will tell you of their "watch journey." I blame the selfie generation, and the technology that makes this stuff possible.
