I'm selling a very rare Croton Nivada Grenchen- Chronograph Aviator Sea Diver, Full radium, 100% original.
It's an early one, with the "chronograph" dial and not the "chronomaster" you usually see. The watch is from the early 60s.
Dial. Very rare "Double Swiss" dial. The dial has turn to a blue grey "tropical". Full radium. No loss.
Hands. Beautiful! In a super condition with no loss. Full radium.
Movement. Venus 210. it's a hand wounded movement. Keep time, good reset. No service history.
Case. It looks like unpolished to me, shows some wear. Size is 38mm.
The caseback is nice too, unpolished.
Crown and pushers. Original and perfectly correct for the period.
Crystal. Original.
Other. with a Nivada bracelet. No box or paper.
For the little story, the watch has been bought by the previous owner (a collector) to the first owner family.
This watch was bought in NYC in the 60s by a marine captain who travels the seas for years, this watch on the wrist.
I'm located in Lausanne, Switzerland. F2F is preferable, but the watch can be send anywhere. No return.
Price is 2800 CHF net to me + shipping.
