Croton Chronomaster (circa 1963) Valjoux 92 Back up for sale (after a lot of running hot and cold on whether to sell or not) is my vintage Croton Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver. It's a fantastic example of this reference, perhaps one of the best you will see in a very long time. Original matte dial in excellent condition Tritium luminous on dial and hands 38mm stainless steel case Watch has not been tested for water resistance Please look at the photos carefully The minutes subdial features a highlighted red countdown area for regatta timing. Movement: Original Valjoux 92 manual wind chronograph movement in superb condition and keeping excellent time. Movement is clean and all functions work as they should including the chronograph start, stop, and reset which feel smooth and responsive as does the crown on winding. The recent service history is unknown. I don't think it needs a service anytime soon, but I leave that up to the buyer to decide based on their own preferences. I bought he watch from a fellow OF member and hopefully it will sell to and stay within OF. Looking to sell to free up some cash for another purchase. The box is not correct (most likely mid '50s) but I do have a correct outer box with an incorrect silk lining which will be included in the sale.
