Story goes that the 2 register dial ones - some are prototypes and others are branded, but usually all 3 register dial ones have a brand. Here is a 3 dial wakmann I found.

also there has been a 3 register NIVADA for sale on OF for a while I believe.

Thanks. When you say some are prototypes,
does that mean they wouldn't have a Singer stamp?
Why would that be? Any chance you know where a picture
of a Nivada with Singer stamp is? Sorry to tie up your thread
if you're annoyed by it, hope not. I thought about it and
figured that you wouldn't mind, and it makes your watch
more interesting andkeeps the thread up top. 😀

I don't mind at all! I just did tones of research and I'm just remembering what I read from various forums/sources/speaking to people about these dials. Prototype dials won't have the logo I'm told - but the case was that for example croton is the same company as Nivada. I believe post 1970 dials won't have the stamp, yet pre 1970 should, also the rounder cased ones have more of a cleaner PN look to them.

Nice watch! You mention the bezel is likely a replacement. Is it a model-correct replacement......or something else entirely? Also, is the crown original? Hard for me to see in the pix provided. Thanks.

I was told its something else, yet I'm also told it looks very close to the original design. Crown might be original, might not, I'm unsure.
