Cracked Tudor 94010 caseback

I have recently noticed a crack in the caseback of my 1984 Tudor 94010 lollipop Sub.
1. Does anyone have a replacement for sale?
2. Can this be repaired by laser welding?
3. Any other suggestions.
Thanks

Look to see if it went all the way through. Take it to your local watchmaker and have him check. If it's just on the surface, I wouldn't worry..........for now.

I imagine it can be laser welded from the top side to stop the crack from spreading further. If they are going to laser weld on the bottom side as well, my only concern would be making sure the bottom surface remains flat after they resurface/refinish the repaired area. Might be a good question to post in the watchmaking sub-forum here.

I’m in the U.S. I’m much more concerned about keeping the damage contained. I no longer swim, dive or shower wearing this watch so waterproof rating is not an issue, but sweat and water vapor encroachment by capillary action is a worry.
