The PO never came with an A or B, and will only have a C or D.

I would also caution against using the date indicator as the sole way of determining if the watch has a D rather than a C. I have had requests to swap date indicators out in these watches (top put a D indicator in a C movement) which I have declined, but that doesn't mean everyone will.
