Cosmic triple date moonphase 1947

Looking for opinions on a new purchase. I am a newbie with no real knowledge. I bought this within minutes of its listing on Ebay. I realize it is redone but I fell in love and got a great discount and really didn't expect the seller would accept my offer. The question is the dial was "professionally" redone but looks like it may not be correct. Seems overdone if that makes sense. two questions. 1. I haven't seen one that looks quite like it. Is it as it should be? 2. is it safe to wear in normal use or is it overly fragile? any other comments welcome. Thanks in advance for your input.

The redial looks pretty decent, except the calendar printing has radial flips at 9 and 23. Here is another example with what I believe to be an original dial:
