    Hi
In my father's item when he past away was an Omega watch I think it is a Cosmic moon phase but not sure it is a proper watch
It has a steel case with blue face the glass has a lot of scratches and one on the markers has come off and lodged in the corner of the watch
The back has a see through screen and all the workings have the Omega stamp marks on the metal work inside also it say 25 jewels, In the main cog looks like a ruby.
Engraved on the metalwork it says Nasa for all, Chronograph and what looks like a serial number 00002-002
If anyone can help me identify is it really is genuine or give me any further information I would be grateful
    Please see attached picures

Automatic movement. The original Cosmics (the one with the moon phase) were all manual wind cal. 381.

I got you the first time.

However, the dial actually is a reasonable facsimile of the original, so I ignored your post and went "straight man" for the good of the forum.

    Here's an original version:

The later Cosmics were automatic (well, most of them), so it can all get confusing for the newbie.

Also, I didn't notice the first time that this fake has a GMT indicator. Interesting.
