Cosmic cal.752 insertion in case with stem

Hi everyone,
I found a 166.036 case to fit my 752 in it but I am facing a problem.
To be able to place the caliber in the case I need to remove the stem. But to be able to put back the stem I need press down on the dimple. And the dimple is in the back of the caliber and in the cosmic case we don't have access to the back. 🤨😁

I am like, how am I supposed to fit the caliber in its case?!?

Usually to put back the stem sometime it just needs to be pushed-in and it "clicks". But for this one I actually need to press down on the dimple...

Should I keep the stem in the caliber and place the caliber in its housing? It seems really hard with the tolerance but this would the reason why they used a split crown?

Thank you

1) Install the male side of the split stem into the movement.
2) insert the movement into the case and line up the stem with the case tube
3) insert the detachable crown/stem through the case tube and connect it to the other half of the split stem

If you have the right parts, it should work fine. Just make sure the male side of the stem is properly installed and not in the setting or quickset position.

You need a two piece stem, insert the inner stem, fit the movement, push in the outer stem/crown to set it into the inner stem.

PS, see much better answer above.
