Hi does any one know what is used to keep the head unit in the case.
The head unit seems to be pressed in but once removed it becomes sloppy on reentry.
no gasket came out with it.

I have a few vintage cosmic 2000 which I separated from their case and have cleaned them and trying to put them back together.

 

Exactly how are you cleaning them? You don't sound like a watchmaker, and if you aren't you're asking for trouble playing with them.

 

I clean the bracelets and the Sweat form the last person who wore them before me and didn't clean them.

 

Oh, okay - as long as you aren't trying to clean the internals. I thought you were opening the watch up and trying to clean & oil the movement.
