Hello OF,

A Cosmic 2000 is for sale in the web. I'm still a nooby and would like to hear your comments about this watch before I spend my hard earned pesos.

I have a couple questions about this piece:

Dial, Is this a redial piece??

I have seen darker green versions on these Cosmic models, never this green.

Case,
Based in the pic I would say the case has been refinished (chamfers in the edges) and not the regular Omega finishing on the sides (surface finishing from the pics is not "Omega-smooth")

But once again, I'm still a neophite.
So any advice is welcome.

Thanks
Pedro

I think this is a ref. 166.129 with cal. 1022:

Regarding the watch in your pictures, I vote for a redial and I'm missing the black painted accents and the lume dots at the markers.

The case has been refinished, there shouldn't be these chamfers.

I'm not sure if the hands are correct, at least they have been painted white, where black colour and lume should be.

I would keep looking for a correct and better watch.

The chamfered case is correct for some of these. OPs watch has the correct original finish.

You can clearly see it in the catalog page above, blue dial far left and on these from my parts bin.

Looks like the chamfers on this and your cases are not as broad as on the OPs watch...
