I finished servicing this Seiko 6309 last week and I've been wearing it off and on between daily wearers. Usually about four hours a day if I'm gardening, tooling up or don't want any of the others scratched.

I set it to an atomic clock a week ago by the minute hand only (this movement can't even be hacked by the gentle "crown tweak").

To date it's about three seconds behind my Citizen which is accurate to < 1 second per month and is regularly synced to GPS (atomic clock) time.

I think 3 seconds a week is pretty good for a thirty year old beater, don't you?

    Cheers

    Jim

That 6309 is phenomenal. But it is so hard to find a case that hasn't been polished into a state these days..
