Correct part # (and supplier) for normal length DSOTM cordura black strap

They claim it will. Thanks @steelfish. I have the rally deployant strap on my Speedy now and measured that. Came to 100mm for short and 105mm for long. Hoping the DTOSM straps are same.

No worries. Btw I have both dsotm and rally straps and they are different lengths slightly. Can't remember which is the slightly longer though.

OK sorry for the delay. Just got back and completely destroyed with lack of sleep!

Part# printed on my DSOTM strap is: CWZ003216 and the measurements are:

12 o'clock side: 96mm long
6 o'clock side: 118mm long. The first hole (tightest) is punched at 51mm from spring bar end and the last hole (for massive wrists) is punched at 93mm from the spring bar end.

Hope that helps.

No problem. Hope you enjoy it when it comes, I love mine. Possibly more so than the Speedy Racing strap.

If you wouldn't mind, any chance you could share the price as I'd love a nice dark blue version of the DSOTM strap for my blue PO 8900. Omega only seem to do a Dark Blue Cordura strap with yellow stitching for the Skyfall AT. I need Bue and blue stictching to match my PO.

The total price was $260 that includes $10 shipping. Said it would take 3-4 weeks.

Can you share the specs you used to order from JR? Did you use their online order form or talk to them on the phone? I'm looking to order basically the same thing from them (different color stitching). They confirmed they can make the strap that work with the Omega deployant clasp? Thanks!

Here's the final numbers I ended up going with - this is based on the final confirmation by JR. I basically told them I wanted the "Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon 21mm CUZ003216" strap with orange stitching instead of black around the edges front & back. @steelfish helped me confirm the sizing and I ended up comparing his dimensions, with my Omega Rally strap and then the dimensions of the DTOSM strap (from my Omega boutique). In the end, I matched the strap lengths with the stock DTOSM after trying the different measurements with cutouts.

21/18 widths

Curved lug

100/105 strap lengths

You have an Omega deployant

Black Cordura with black rubber around the pinholes; black stitching around the pinholes

Orange stitching around the perimeter of the strap - both on the upper Cordura and the lining

Awesome, thank you. That's not bad actually, I may well do the same.

The vintage calf is probably my favorite of all the SOTM straps. Really goes with everything, with the added security of the deploy style clasp/buckle mechanism. Don't have any pics on hand but have seen plenty of people rock them for the DSOTM and GSOTM.
Mine too! Not to thread-jack, but what are the odds that you know this part number? Omega doesn't have many 21mm OEM options, and I'd consider this to be the best 'distressed' option.

What did you end up going with for the lining? Leather or rubber? That's my only decision left to make.

I'm going with white stitching on the front with the black Cordura - it will look great with my white-dial Speedmaster Racing.

I asked them to use the same lining as the standard DTOSM Cordura strap. I am not 100% sure if it's rubber or leather, but I suspect it's rubber.

SOTM cordura straps come with leather liner. The 19mm black cordura strap for the "Racing" series Speedy Automatics came with rubber liner.

If you're getting it custom-made then JR should be able to craft the strap with either liner depending on personal preference.

I asked JR to make it exactly like the DSOTM strap with the exception of orange stitching around the edges top & bottom, so I'm going to assume they use leather then since @yinzerniner says it should be leather. 😀 When I get it I'll share pictures. They said it would be 3-4 weeks.

Another thing to note - JR actually has different finishes of leather for the liner material as well.

One is softer and has a more smooth matte look, while the other is a bit more pebbled and has a slightly glossier finish. Supposedly the first one is a bit more cushioned but also more porous so it'll need to be cleaned more often and isn't the best for water contact, while the second is more water and stain resistant, but less plush.

Depending on your usage/preferences they'll sort which leather best suits you needs.

I received my JR Codura strap for my Speedmaster Racing today, it's exactly what I asked for and I think it looks great.

Looks sharp that. Maybe even looks a little more hard wearing than the OEM strap as well. Glad you got it sorted in the end.

Looks fantastic! I ordered a custom strap from JR at the beginning of May for my FOIS and it came in exactly as I wanted a few weeks ago. Great customer service (Kelly Ann) and highly recommended.
