Hello everyone,

I’m looking for some reliable information regarding the correct hesalite crystal size for an Omega Suverän, reference 2400-1.

Before ordering a replacement crystal, I want to make sure I buy the right diameter for this specific case. I understand that Suverän models from the 1940s were produced with different case suppliers, so tolerances may vary slightly between 2400-x versions.

My questions:

  • What is the correct crystal diameter for a Suverän 2400-1?
  • Is there an official Omega crystal reference for this case? For those who have serviced or handled one recently, which crystal size worked properly?
  • Do variations between 2400-0 / 2400-1 / 2400-2 affect the crystal size?

Any help, measurements, or past experience would be greatly appreciated.
I simply want to order the correct crystal before sending the watch in for the replacement.

Thank you very much!
Alexandre

I have on my personal references 312 (ones I have owned and measured) so that seems to be a great reference @Jorgehernando. Do you mind sharing the source? Would love to have that handy. Best wishes

OK I lied...I have another question ^^

The database you sent is amazing !! Some Case Refs have this diameter ref like 313 (31.3 mm) which is easy to understand, for the 2400 for instance.

But some have another type of ref, like 5000, or 5001.
How can one know the diameter it refers to ?

Thanks again, have a great week guys

5000 and 5001 crystals are 29.62mm.
