Correct C 2577 7SC dial?

The case back is stamped C2577 - 7SC and I thought that the correct dial was gilt/gold markers and hands with the black.

I have generally associated the black dial to the 1956 CK 2767.

Is this the correct dial for reference C2577-7SC ? Re-dial?

Emendation of above for clarity: I have generally associated the black dial (with silver arrow markers and hands) to the 1956 CK 2767

Why do you associate black dials with 2767s?

This style of dial can be found in multiple „sub-references“ of the 2577. However, for this particular one I vote redial (and relume, of course).

Movement also looks very tired and the clasp has nothing to do with the period. Case is heavily polished and seems to have lost the chamfers on the lugs completely. To me it’s the typical case of an eBay seller who tries his best to gussy up a watch for an auction for as little money as possible.

For posterity:

An eBay listing, eh? Came up on an Omega FB group and was just curious. After looking through all my resources I couldn't find the same style of dial in black on a ref 2577, but definitely on a 2767.

For prosperity. I'd run not walk from that example. 😁

A quick search on OF:

Honeycomb, yes, but same style indices and black. It’s among the most common configurations of 2577 and while original black dials are of course more uncommon than the usual lighter colors, I’m sure there are quite a few out there.

Point well taken, and my generalised comment referring to the black dial on a 2577 needed to be challenged. However, and more to the point I wanted to make, this is still another example of a black dial in this style with gilt indices. I'd like to see a ref 2577 with the same arrow style on a black dial with the non gilt indices. Maybe they are out there. Anyway, and aside of all the other obvious red flags with this watch, I am still of the mind that the black dial with silver arrow indices is only correct for the ref. 2577.

Btw, what lovely dials these honeycomb dials are.
