·OMG, I wish I had the funds for this. I'd pack up my telescope, park somewhere with dark skies, and just avoid the news for a week while looking at very tired old photons that have been hurtling through space for millions of years.

How about buying this in OF name and either a) renting out to subscribers, b) raffling to all members, c) combo of renting and raffling the high season weeks?
It's got to make sense somehow. I've been reading that everyone is keen to visit the States right now. 👍

I clearly need to save up for this rocket engine, the airstream trailer, and maybe also a full-sized t-rex skeleton that can be the centerpiece of my living room. You know, really complete the "nerd with more money than sense" look. Except, I don't have that kind of money.
