I saw this converted pocket watch on an auction and fell in love with it...
I have no idea about this kind of thing...I have tried to research it but haven't been able to come up with anything...
I assume it has been repaired...and it runs very well...desperately seeking some advice.....
Can anyone tell me anything about what this watch might be?

I would save your desperation for a watch worth desperation. Do you have the link to the listing?

They take a pocket watch movement and fit it into a fake dial/case. There is lack in shock protection with these types of frankenwatches, be careful about hard hits and drops. I would stay away..far away - Find yourself a black dial bumper or connie. So many better options out there!

To answer your question, real Omega movement, fake dial and either reworked or totally fake case.

I am not totally biased against these as there are plenty of non-shockproof older wristwatches out there that work acceptably. However, the schlockmeisters in Ukraine that concoct these tend to ask outrageous prices for these "rare" pieces.
