I just received my newest watch today. Constellation Pie Pan. I took a chance and it paid off. Sharp, but a few scares, 168.005 SS case. Looks to have never been polished. And a NEAR perfect silver dial under a cracked and scratched yellowed crystal. The movement is a 561 with ser. 238xxxxx. So by my saved charts, that puts the case as a 1962 but the movement as a 1966. Would this be a correct watch?

Why do you say that the case is from 1962?

The Omega database shows the first year the reference was made. The Ref. 168.005 was made for several years, up through 1967 at least.

I see now that the PDF that I saved is for the Caliber years and list this case as "The First Year Used" with this Caliber.
    Thanks for the info.
