Hi All,

I’m posting this on behalf of my mate who won the constellation recommended by @dsio

Someone told me my recently won omega constellatjon pie pan has a crown that isn’t original. Photos are below. They specifically said “Crown isn’t original it came with, it belongs to the reference before (14xxx)”. Is this the case?

Thanks so much!

The correct crown is not as deep.

Hey sorry,
A little confused on this. Are you saying the correct crown for my watch should not be as deep as this one? As in, it is indeed the incorrect crown?

Thanks very much

The crown was the first thing that popped out to me when I initially saw the listing as well. From all the Constellations 168.005 I've seen, the crown should be thinner. The crown in the listing is too thick.

Personally, it wouldn't bother me and $1,500 is a reasonable price for the watch. I bid $1,475 and lost out. On to the next one.

Yes, the crown is in fact incorrect. The one I posted above is the correct one, note the difference.

Could be, but not unheard of and not a big deal.
