Hi All,

I have just purchased a Constellation 'Pie Pan', case 168.0065, Cal 1011 and wonder how common these watches are? I have seen some around on the web and wonder if they are really as rare as some describe? Does anyone know production numbers or number of years built? Any feedback appreciated.

Thank you for your help.
Regards,

There are also a couple of threads on OF on this watch.
Try googling Omega forums and the reference and you should find them.
congrats on your Connie by the way.

Did that one come with original papers from 1980?

When Desmond wrote his article they were rare. But with the growing internet things changed and you see these 'last pie pans' every year a couple of times. I would say between 5 to 10 times a year. It was one of the reasons I've sold mine.

Hi,

yes has it has papers, 5-10 different watches is not so bad? Now I understand you distinction between rare and uncommon.

Thanks

OP = "Original Poster" or "Original Post"

The person who started the thread, or the initial post.

Price and condition are 馃憤. I thought 1980 was strange with a serial 37xxx. So i would like to see those papers.

The OP's watch has papers from 1980.

The year it's sold is not necessarily the year it was made.
