My rare and elusive 2887, the only screwback case reference for the cal. 501/505 Constellations of the '50s. By some estimations, only 1% of the 501/505 Constellations came in this case-type. I'm not a gold-wearer (or digger!), and the collection is overflowing a bit , so, as much as I hate to be rational, I must do the 'rational' thing. Desmond wrote an interesting article on this reference here: http://omega-constellation-collecto.../omega-constellation-black-sheep-returns.html This beautiful pie-pan with Arrowhead markers has a gorgeous burnt patina like few others I've seen. The 505 movement is a 16,xxx,xxx from 1958, running well, although I have no service history. The crown is not correct for this reference, and the crystal has a scratch at 11, otherwise in good condition. The case is excellent, and the medallion is in beautiful shape... The watch has remained in my safe for most of my possession (9 months) after I bought this one from @cristos71 , and he was kind enough to allow me to re-post some of his pictures along with mine (the side shots ). He's a great photographer, as most of us know, so best to enjoy them here again! I will be more than happy to post additional photos (won't be nearly as pretty as Chris's), or answer any questions by PM here. Enjoy! ...and oh yeah .... PRICE: $1275 USD via wire, FTF, or.... , yes, I'll take PP. Now mine: and one more by Chris for the finale:
