Looking through many images and versions of connies there are different things about different designs that I like. Was there a version that was had a combination of the nice earlier lugs that had the bend with later straighter hands. tks, Marcus
This description is not going to get you very far, include some photos of what you mean and better yet, reference numbers of the styles you're referring to.
Kja, tks for the correct names. From what I have seen the dogleg lugs disappear in early 60's models ~168.0005 and about the same time the stick hands are introduced 168.0015, 168.0018.
Dogleg started in the 14900 / 14902 models ( Gents design) and continued with the 167 and 168 models in around 62/63 Not sure if they ever came with hands as late as those There are some straight pencil hands that came before those hands Still not sure if the are seen on a 168.005 though - possibly Most likely in a dome dial if they did
Those hands are seen first on the late hidden crowns and C cases not dog leg lugs. If you like. You can franken one for yourself.
Is this a franken. It has what I am looking for. Anyone know what model this is, I only found this image.
Constellations did come with numbers The pic isn't good enough to tell if it is a redial but the word automatic looks a bit iffy
Same watch from Knightsbridge auctions? http://watchesofknightsbridge.com/view-auction-catalogues.html?pd=2015 Font looks good in these pics
Those hands are generic, not original Omega. The original ones have longer cuts. I mean the strips are cut longer.
yes I see what you mean, like this, 168.005 561 although there is no 'SWISS MADE' does that shout redial.
