I have a question about the "M" on the dial script. I used to have this model the 167.015 DSCF0769.JPG As you can see the M is slanted, and is what I expect from the script of a watch from this time period. I recently bought the 168.015 DSCF0838.JPG
In this model the M's are not slanted. Which other models from this time period have the non slanted M? Or are they unique to this particular model?
    Thanks for your help.

I don't think I've seen another dial where all of the "M's" have straight legs.

Omega was known to mix and match on occasion

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies. I've done a little research on this and it seems to me that the all the 168.015 models have the straight M. The 167.015 and the pie-pans 167.025 and 168.025 have the slanted M. As gatorcpa mentions there are other models that have mixed lettering with the straight M in chronometer or chronometre and the slanted M in Automatic. Does anyone know if the all straight M dial lettering is unique to the 168.015? Was it some sort of transition dial?
