Hi ! I have the very same f300Hz .. for sale, in better shape than yours .. perhaps you would be interested !! Lol 😇
If you are referring to the F300 posted at the top of this thread, please say so. If you are referring to my F300 (the cushion shaped one), please say so. If you’re referring to the cushion shaped one, I like it just as is. And I’ll like it better after I replace the crystal! Oh, and by the way, if you are offering yours for sale, you’d never match the price I paid for mine!🙂

Jarett took over for Rene Rondeau. He does fix, service and repair tuning fork watches. He’s reasonable and has a quick turnaround.
Jarett quoted me $425 US for a basic service which more than double what Chris Radek or tripple what Rob B charges. He responded to email quickly and was very polite and professional.

Once in a while, the higher quote comes from someone who has actually SEEN the watch. Lower quotes often come from someone who HASN’T seen the watch!

I should correct myself, none of the numbers are quotes based on an assessment of the watch. They are all base rates for a service, i.e. the minimum price. I have not used Chris Radek, but I have used Rob B several times. He does a good job and his base rate of $140 US is real. Rob can charge so little because he lives in Thailand, but you do have to deal with shipping the watch to him. It is not a major inconvenience, but it would be nice to have someone in the US to work with.

I was unable to locate your Omega in the sales section. Mine cost me $25.00 plus the labour of stripping it and cleaning it. I will replace the crystal, eventually. But for the time being, I like it just the way it is. Yours is certainly in better shape, however.

I have a couple of those quartz omegas (mega quartz and f300), they work very well for the moment fortuntely. I’m wondering if I should still send them for maintenance every couple of years?

Hi ! Every couple of years is certainly exaggerated .. these watches need a battery from time to time .. the mecaquartz an inspection/service for the mechanical part of it .. the f300 probably a replacement of the date disk when it will fail ..for the rest corrosion of the contact can happen, depending on the way they are stored/utilized .. all in all not much actually

If anyone is interested, my f300 is for sale. Is it in the best condition? No, but it’s it fair shape, works and looks good on the wrist. 😉
