Constellation Calendar 2943 in watch shop

Found this recently in a local watch shop. A watch on my radar.

2943 with cal 504, SN dates to 1958
Dial looks good script ok I think. I didn’t move the hands out of way for photos- my bad.
Radium lume looks orig
Case polished, I think too much on lugs particularly 5:00 lug
Caseback shows circular polish lines as well
Bezel and medallion ok
Red sweep likely not original??
Movement cal 504 looks ok, rotor likely replaced color different
Asking price $1500. I didn’t negotiate as I wasnt sure I wanted it.

I passed based on excessive lug polishing. And I dont think red sweep is original. ?
Would anyone have bought at this price?

I think the price is quite high. As you point out, the watch is not pristine and has had replacement parts. The dial may have been cleaned at some point, but looks to be original.

I would like this watch much better at $750 to $1,000.
