Hello, I currently own a Geneve 135.041 and have been eyeing the Constellation 168.027 for a bit. I've never seen a Constellation in person but I'm very curious how different the case sizings are between these two. Anyone who has or had both if you could help regarding the size that would be amazing. Thanks in advance!
Geneve 135.041 measurements: Case Diameter 34.5 mm Lug to Lug 35 mm Lug Width 18 mm According to other sources the case thickness is either 9.5 or 10mm. Constellation 168.027 Case Thickness 11 mm Case Diameter 35 mm Lug to Lug 40 mm Lug Width 19 mm Source: https://watchcharts.com/watch/25555/omega-constellation-168-027#specs
The case profile is different on the Connie. More curved and less chunky than on the 041 Geneve. They are quite different in hand.
Yes I suppose I would, but neither feels massive on the wrist. I always felt that the 041 was a little scaled down and would have suited a 37mm size better maybe.
Updating this thread. Owning both now, the Geneve wears a bit bigger than the Constellation. I think it's because of the proportion of the watch and also how the case of the Geneve feels more flat with less curves. Having small wrists, I prefer the Constellation.
Ahaha I'll do the same guys. Time to "stuck" 135.041 and make the desire of the constellation such as to favour the desire. Unfortunately we will never have a comparison photo on the same wrist
Though less desirable I personally prefer the Geneve case as a little more subtly C shaped if you follow
Seeing those side-by-side makes it look like the Constellation only has a 1 star rating whereas the Longines has a 5 star rating.
